Press release 2018-06-20
Collector Ventures and Zenith Venture Capital are the lead investors as LEEROY is raising 25 mkr. Almi Invest and Norrlandsfonden also participate in the round.
In recent years, LEEROY has developed a self-learning AI-driven data platform that enables restaurant chains to run their business as a technology company. The uniqueness of LEEROY’s solution is that the restaurants create business value in their daily business, increase their sales and guest loyalty, while offering their guests a better experience. In addition to the AI-driven data platform where the restaurant follows and directs its business in real time LEEROY’s solution consists of a mobile app where the guest can order and pay before or during the restaurant visit, as well as a cashier system. A complete solution for running a restaurant digitally.
LEEROY is now taking the next step in its development. In addition to capital, the investment also brings valuable skills, collaboration opportunities and contact networks from Collector. Zenith Venture Capital, with Tommy Jacobson in the lead, entered in the previous investment round of 15 mkr in aug-2016 and continues to work closely with the company. The funds raised in this round will support the recruitment of additional developers to the offices in Stockholm and Sundsvall, as well as scale up the product, accelerate development and launch the product internationally.
Lena Apler, CEO and Founder Collector:
”Finally, the restaurant industry has the chance to digitize, develop and elevate its entire business to the next level. By using LEEROY’s platform, the restaurants get brand new opportunities to create a modern customer experience while at the same time closely manage the underlying business. The LEEROY investment fits perfectly into Collector Venture’s fintech portfolio and we already see multiple opportunities for collaborations. ”
